Missy Elliott is being sued for allegedly skipping out on a Brazilian TV appearance and two concerts, and now the promoter is asking a judge to order her to pay back the $75,000 fee she received up front.

Jean Faustin of the Maestro Global Media Group filed a lawsuit in the Manhattan Supreme Court claiming that the five-time Grammy winner received a $75,000 deposit in the fall of 2012 to perform in Rio and Porto Alegre that November. According to the suit, as part of the agreement, Elliott was supposed to promote the performances on Brazilian TV, but she was a no-show, and the lack of media presence led to disappointing ticket sales. Faustin had to ultimately cancel the concerts and Missy refused to return the deposit, Page Six reports.

Elliott has yet to comment on the lawsuit.

Meanwhile, TMZ captured footage of the “Lose Control” rapper shooting a new music video on Oct. 6 in Los Angeles. According to the celebrity news site, the track is titled “WTF,” and it was produced by Pharrell.
