Mase‘s current issues gained a new addition as the IRS hit him with a federal tax lien of $10,000.

The lien, which was filed in Georgia on Sept. 3, stems from accusations that the rapper (real name Mason Durell Betha) failed to pay $12,036.51 in taxes for the year 2010, theJasmineBrand.com reports. If Mase fails to pay the tax lien, the IRS will take immediate steps to seize his property and assets.

The entertainer’s tax troubles mark the latest in a series of happenings that have plagued him since last year. In December, Mase blew off a lawsuit filed by a model who accused the rhymesayer of using her photo in publicity for his single, “Why Can’t We.” As a result, Mase was ordered to pay $7,500 via a default judgment.

Adding to this is Mase’s divorce from his wife last year after nearly 13 years of marriage, theJasmineBrand notes. The split came at a cost as the rapper and his wife finally came to an agreement that found him paying $6,000 in support and alimony to his ex.
