Stevie Wonder climbed into James Corden’s ride on Monday’s “Late Late Show” and delivered perhaps the best “Carpool Karaoke” segment thus far.

It starts off with Corden in the passenger seat asking the as-yet-identified driver if it’s really okay for him to take the wheel of the SUV. The camera then pans to Wonder, who admits his driver’s license might not actually be on him.

Soon, Stevie starts imitating Corden’s British accent – specifically to annoy him.

Once the duo has finally swapped seats, the karaoke begins. The pair tackle such Wonder classics as “Superstition,” “Isn’t She Lovely” and “For Once in My Life.”

But it’s Wonder’s telephone call to Corden’s wife, Julia, to surprise her with “I Just Called to Say James Loves You” that brings the talk show host to tears.
