Well, that was rude. Janelle Monae and Wonderland Records debuted their new single “Hell You Talmbout” on the “Today” show. But it was Janelle’s speech she gave after the performance that producers seemed less than interested about.
“Hell You Talmbout” is a musical tribute to the black lives lost to police brutality.”Yes Lord! God bless America!” she told the crowd.
“God bless all the lost lives to police brutality. We want white America to know that we stand tall today. We want black America to know we stand tall today. We will not be silenced…” And that’s when the songstress got cut off.
