Horoscopes for the week of July 27th

“Remind those who would disregard the Soul they hold inside, that Hell is here on Earth disguised as life they long denied.” ~Shelly Aspenson

Spirituality for me means creating heaven right here on Earth. It is building a foundation of values, priorities, and best practices that support whomever you wish to be, and whatever you wish to achieve. It is self-nurturing as you indulge in activities that bring you joy. It is filling your inner reserves with enough love, care, and nourishment to sustain you when you come up against the harsh realities of life. Spirituality is embracing the energy and wisdom of a higher power so that the essence of you can be seen and shine bright. It is a lifestyle that can only be cultivated by conscious intention, followed by conscious action.

We tend to complicate spirituality. There’s a misconception that when you are spiritual, life gets easier as if you are in a constant state of nirvana. I often warn my clients who embark on their own spiritual paths to expect a few false starts and get comfortable with periods of solitude and darkness. This is a part of the journey – a delicate dance of being in the world, not of the world. Spirituality takes practice. Focus on developing the core of your being is required, and just as you would begin to notice the physical results of a few weeks of diet and exercise, your spirit will begin to awaken in awareness to the vibrancy of life all around you.

The choice of a spiritual life has a ripple effect that allows every aspect of experience on this Earth plane to fall into place almost effortlessly. Relationships are stronger, you feel a sense of purpose, and the low points of existence are more manageable. Happiness is your reality, while abundance pours into the empty spaces. Sure, your efforts may ebb and flow due to daily responsibilities and obligations. But you will oblige with a willing attitude. These are just a few of the benefits – I know because my own journey has led to this testimony. Be open, then, to receive as you surrender to the call of your spirit. The possibilities become endless once invested.
