It’s one thing to help your baby mama out, but as Sean “Diddy” Combs is finding out. Helping your baby mama out can land you in major trouble.

The music mogul is slamming the mother of his son Justin, Misa Hylton-Brim, with accusations of her spending the large monthly child support checks he gives her, recklessly. As a result, Combs is being ordered to pay more than $622,000 to Citibank in light of the fact that Hylton-Brim stopped making payments on her New York home

Court documents obtained by TheJasmineBrand highlight a lawsuit filed by Citibank against Combs and Hylton-Brim that accuses the former couple of defaulting on a $712,000 loan for a New York home. Although Combs co-signed a bank loan for Hylton-Brim, the court documents stated that she stopped making payments on the home in 2010.

As a result, Citibank demanded that Combs be held responsible for the home, despite him not living there. From there, the bank sued Combs and Hylton-Brim for $622,518.34 and requested that the court allow them to foreclose on the home.

Responding to the suit, Combs fired back, saying he only helped Hylton-Brim get the loan because of her bad credit. He goes on to claim that Hylton-Brims agreed to handle all the mortgage payments. If she honored that commitment, then Combs wouldn’t be held accountable if she couldn’t make the payments.

Combs’ reason for helping Hylton-Brim get the home stemmed from her raising Justin, who was living with her, the mogul explained while mentioning that he paid his baby mama substantial amounts of child support over the years.

Part of what Hylton-Brim received was supposed to go towards paying her mortgage.

From there, Combs accused Hylton-Brim of not being able to manage her finances despite her getting huge child support checks from him every month. In addition, the entertainer claimed that he helped Hylton-Brim pay her mortgage on numerous occasions.

As a result, Combs demanded that the Citibank lawsuit against him be dismissed since it wasn’t his home and Justin now lives in California and not with his mother.

Combs’ demands didn’t sit well with Citibank. The bank countered the Bad Boy Records founder and CEO with claims that he was responsible for the default on the mortgage payments.

As it turned out, things did not work out in Combs’ favor as the case closed on the same day. According to TheJasmineBrand, a New York judge rejected Combs’ claims last month and sided with Citibank.

As it stands now, the entertainer and Hylton-Brim were ordered to pay the $622,518.34 owed on the mortgage. In addition, the judge allowed the bank to begin the foreclosure process on the New York-based home.
