Horoscopes for the week of April 27th

Over the past two weeks, I’ve been working on a project in Tunisia that allowed me to meet young adults from all over the world who traveled to share their stories of journeys made as global citizens. I learned a lot about their lives and cultures, and I learned a lot about myself in the process. When I was invited to promote the project on Tunisian radio (RTCI), I became starkly aware for the umpteenth time that I am so damn blessed. Having pulled this project off with much success, I feel like I can do anything now. That is a wonderful feeling, but it leaves much to consider as I return to the blessed life that I already have back home in the U.S.
I often say that I lead two parallel lives – one life completely separate from the other, with deep passion being the main thing that both lives have in common (a passion for travel and a passion for Astrology). I have yet to figure out how to combine the two, and I’m starting to believe that it can’t be done; I will have to embrace both as mutually exclusive. But that’s OK. I don’t like the idea of choosing one good life over another good life anyway. What I do struggle with, however, is the part where both lives become the whole of me. I’m open to your suggestions.
There are many of us who struggle with trying to blend various facets of our lives into one transcendent dream. In the process, we either choose to compartmentalize, which is often the easiest way to manage the many conflicting elements that make our lives what they are today, or; we pursue all of our desires in an ambitious way, often accused of being naïve in our belief that we can have it all. For right now, I think both approaches are acceptable. Through my own attempts at deciphering what works best for me, I’ve decided to start by shifting my perspective, which has been developed by a society that doesn’t always represent my truth.
Those experiences that remind me of the many ways I am blessed inspire me to create an authentic life, even if that life consists of me living in a portable yurt at various locations around the world, big enough for a loving husband and family of three, all the while giving astrology readings and coaching sessions via Skype. You too, dear reader, are equally blessed. Let your blessings guide you to adamantly create the life of your dreams, incorporating all distinctions, no matter your vision.
