Karrueche Tran is moving on with her life and focusing on her career after her split from Chris Brown and she’s already getting an Emmy nod!
The model may have backed into her big break right under our noses with her role in an online soap opera called The Bay. According to TMZ.com, the show has just gotten a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding New Approaches Drama Series.
Tran joined the cast last year to play Vivian Johnson, who has somehow wound up right back in her hometown. The role wasn’t just handed to her, either. Tran had to beat out about 100 other actresses to snag the gig.
Vivian isn’t a huge part of the show right now; so far she only pops up in about six episodes since her mysterious entrance in season 3. Tran might want to start working on her lines, though, because her character is rumored to be getting a much bigger story line in season 4.
Who knew Tran even had a job outside of following Chris around and posing on Instagram? Congrats, girl!
