April generally means two things for high school students: spring break and the nerve-racking process of learning whether or not they were accepted into their colleges of choice. Elmont High student, Harold Ekeh can skip the second part after being granted letters of acceptance from each of the eight Ivy League schools.

CNNMoney reports Ekeh is a 2015 Intel Science Talent Search semifinalist looking to major in neurobiology or chemistry.

“I am leaning toward Yale,” he told CNNMoney. “I competed at Yale for Model UN, and I like the passion people at Yale had.”

Ekeh’s family immigrated to the United States from Nigeria when he was eight. After initially questioning the decision and struggling to pick up the basic concepts of US History, Ekeh reportedly has a 100.5% GPA. His Intel Science Award recognition is based on research for combating Alzheimer’s, and he says he developed a passion for the field after losing his grandmother to the disease when he was 11.

In addition to finishing his studies, Ekeh says he will visit each of the schools before making his final decision. You can read CNNMoney’s full profile of Harold Ekeh at CNNMoney.com.
