Terrance Howard is pulling double duty for FOX this year. Not only is he the star of the breakout show “Empire,” but he’s using his star power for the new thriller “Wayward Pines.”
“Wayward Pines” stars Matt Dillion as Ethan Burke who, while investigating the disappearance of two fellow agents, finds himself trapped in the town where no one is allowed to leave. Howard resides over the town’s residents, who live in fear of mysterious phone calls that instruct people to kill.
M. Knight Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Signs) is the executive producer on the series so you can expect terror and insane plot twists. Howard booked the limited series before he started filming “Empire.” The series also stars Juliette Lewis, Siobhan Fallon Hogan and more Melissa Leo.
The series premieres on May 14th on FOX at 9/8c.
