A former fashion model is the latest in over a dozen women to accuse Bill Cosby of sexual assault. Former model and actress Helen Gumpel also known as Helen Selby has come forward with allegations Cosby made unwanted sexual advances towards her when she appeared on his self-titled sitcom in 1988. The Associated Press is reporting Helen claims Cosby made crude gestures and sexual overtures towards her when she appeared on the show. Helen alleges she was told to come to The Cosby Show’s set for an audition right after filming an episode in 1987. She then charges she was taken to Cosby’s dressing room where he made her sit on a couch and give her a drink. There she claims, Cosby proceeded to stand in front of her with his crotch in her face.

At a news conference at a downtown Boston hotel, Helen stated:

I never thought of myself as a victim because I refused his advances. But my career was a victim.

So far, Cosby and his attorney Marty Singer have yet to comment about the latest accusation. Cosby was sent to have back-to-back comedy shows at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston but was cancelled. According to  a statement released by Cosby, the show was pulled not because of demonstrators threatening to protest, but due to inclement weather. The forecast in the New England area called for a winter snow storm where 2 feet of snow is expected to arrive. Cosby has been accused of raping, drugging and sexually assaulting nearly over two dozen women over the years, charges he’s vehemently denied.
