Love & Hip Hop’s Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris weren’t the only ones happy he was released on bail. Apparently the federal government was as well. Now why would the feds be excited for Harris not being behind bars, when they were the once that placed charges against him for alleged drug trafficking? It seems every time Harris appears on the VH1 hit series the feds get a cut of his money. Democrat & Chronicle is reporting as part of Harris’ $600,000 bail agreement, anytime he is on Love & Hip Hop or does a paid public appearance he must cough up the cash to the feds. Many fans of the show wondered exactly how he was granted bail based on the seriousness of the charges against him. Some questioned if Harris decided to roll over and snitch in order to be released from prison but that isn’t the case.

What happens if Yandy’s husband-to-be beats the charges? Don’t expect him to get that money back. If Harris is found not guilty of all the charges he will not get one cent back, based upon the agreement he made with the feds as he awaits trial. Now before anyone hit Yandy up on social media asking if she’ll lose her money, rest assured the mogul will get her $200,000 back she used to secure his release once Harris’ case ends. Harris was arrested in January 2013 and was charged with allegedly being part of a cocaine and heroine drug ring. Court documents claim Harris took part in this drug ring from 2006-2008, where he had a small role in the operation alongside his brother Tyrus Harris and Ronald Walker. Both men have plead guilty. Harris is slated to head back to court Jan. 15.
