Leigh Anne Tuohy, the woman Sandra Bullock played in “The Blind Side,” where Tuohy and her husband adopted NFL tackle Michael Oher when he was a homeless teenager, posted the above photo after she saw two young Black men at a restaurant huddled together. The person she was with at the restaurant spotted the two young Black men and said, “I bet they are up to no good,” and because Tuohy is who she is, she decided to go over and sit with the young men and inquire about what they were up to. Rightfully so, the boys didn’t want to tell Tuohy anything because she’s a stranger who’s imposing on them. But once she told them she owned the restaurant, they revealed they were trying to scrape together money for a basketball game. Tuohy couldn’t help herself and gave the boys money for the game, popcorn and bus fare. What an amazing heart Tuohy has!

Tuohy said on her Facebook status, “We gave to STOP judging people and assuming and pigeon holing people! Don’t judge a book by its cover or however you’d like to express the sentiment! Accept others and stop seeing what you want to see!!!!”

Tuohy’s Facebook post has over 7,000 comments, over 19,000 shares and over 200,000 likes and within those varying comments are people who think Tuohy was very nice in what she did for those boys and many others are criticizing Tuohy for being a part of the problem she’s complaining about:

What do you think beauties? Did Tuohy do something nice or something self-serving? Sound off in the comments below.
