Erica Mena and Cyn Santana‘s tumultuous lesbian relationship was a major storyline on season five of Love & Hip Hop: New York. Now she’s marrying Bow Wow.
Although their relationship ended and it had been speculated if the girl-girl hook up was real or not, she still wishes Santana the best.
“She’s young and it’s hard to be in this world and have your friends have their opinions,” Erica told Hot 97. “It can eventually get to somebody and I think that’s eventually what happened.”
Mena added, “I wish her the best. I think she still feels a way, and I feel bad because I don’t want her to go on like that.”
Mena still claims her association with Santana was a real romance. Although, there are critics who believe it was only for the cameras only.
“I think once we see how the breakup actually plays out, it’s super intense,” she said. “When I was in that relationship, I was in that relationship. So, I gave it a lot.”
Now Mena is in love with actor/host/rapper Bow Wow, and they are engaged. She explained why her love isn’t making an appearance on her show though.
“For the first time, I really want to keep something to myself,” she said. “This is going to be for the rest of my life.”
