Tisha Campbell-Martin is suing a woman over a deal she made to lease her 2007 Bentley Continental.
According to TMZ, the actress bought the luxury car, but decided she didn’t want to drive it. She ended up leasing it to a woman named Belinda Baker.
According to Tisha’s lawsuit, Baker agreed to pay her $90,000 up front, followed by 11 subsequent payments of $5,000. So when all was said and done, Baker would pay Tisha a total of $145,000.
Campbell-Martin alleges Baker made the first payment, but failed to fork over the rest…and kept the car.
Baker has fired back, claiming she thought she was purchasing the car, not leasing it, and suggests the vehicle is only worth around $70,000.
TMZ reports: “It looks like both ladies are wrong, because according to the contract they signed, Baker agreed to pay $70K up front and $5K a month for 11 months. And it’s clearly a lease.”
