Can anyone believe this? It’s pretty hard to believe.

Nas has been nominated for 13 Grammys, but considered one of the greatest rappers of all time, he’s never won.

At the VH1 premiere of “The Tanning of America” — a documentary focused on how hip-hop culture helped shape modern-day America, he talked about his snubs over years.

And the “Illmatic” rapper doesn’t seem too bother by it.

“I like that the Grammys nominated me,” he told the NY Post. “I know the hugest platform for music is the Grammys, it matters… but something that huge is never gonna get it right. So it’s OK. It gives me the opportunity to wear a nice suit on a red carpet.”

Can anyone sense a little shade in Nas’ statement? The Grammys don’t always get it right can be in reference to him deserving to win? Regardless, it’s true. The Grammys — like many major award shows — don’t always get it right.

Nevertheless, Nas is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his debut with “Illmatic XX” which is now available.

And he’s not hating on today’s rap talents — praising youth artists out there.

“It’s a lot of jingles… and that’s cool.. .I see a lot of young black kids making money, and I’m very happy with that,” he said.
