Horoscopes for the week of October 21st

Only you are to blame for wasted potential.

I’ve recently become certified as a Spiritual Life Coach (hooray!), and I’ve decided that the first “disclaimer” I am going to issue during a client’s Intake is this: I cannot be held responsible if you feel you are not making progress in life. The fact is there’s only so much I can do to help, anyway. I’ve been taught the proper skills, I’m beyond passionate about empowering others, and I recognize that when you win, we all win – I’ve got nothing to lose! So if you still feel stuck after a number of sessions with me and aren’t getting anywhere, I will let you know right now that it’s not me, it’s you.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot as a result of some personal self-reflection. I’ve noticed the ways in which I resist, procrastinate, find distractions, come up with excuses, and do whatever it takes to avoid creating the life that I want, and yet still complain about how I wish I had this and that! I’m over it; so over it that I now make it a point to wake up every morning counting my blessings, giving thanks for at least three, and then setting my intention for the day. No more pussyfooting around for this Astrologer + Life Coach. It’s time to commit to my vision, and what do you know; there’s a New Moon/Solar Eclipse in the sign of Scorpio this Thursday, October 23rd, opening a window of opportunity.

The Scorpion in Astrology is a deep penetrating sign that needs to get to the bottom of something in order to release what’s hidden, paving the way for total transformation. As we close this final Eclipse chapter of the year and begin the season of Scorpio, you can believe that an element of life has already been revealed and liberated for the sake of personal renewal, courtesy of the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse we had in Aries two weeks back. I’ve explained what that might mean for you in your horoscopes below, and don’t forget to read for your Ascendant sign too. In the meantime, I encourage you to use this investigative energy to get to the crux of what’s thwarting your progress, and weed that out for good.

On the day you were born, all of the planets were positioned in the signs of the Zodiac – not just the Sun. To find out more about your full astrological make up, email Tracey for a personal Astrology reading at tracey@randomnessofrudy.com.

Aries: If you’re being honest, you’d have to admit that some element of your personal character needed to shift so that you might reach a new level of understanding regarding your current life circumstance. No longer can you blame others for your shortcomings Aries, especially with regards to financial loss or intimate partnerships. It’s time to take responsibility for you, flaws and all. In doing so, new opportunities for investments to be made on your behalf become a strong possibility. If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), please show your support by signing this petition to make it a national health priority.

Taurus: You’ve been wrestling with something Taurus, and that something in the back of your mind – guilt, worry, repressed memories, or trauma – has kept you from truly connecting with others. Whether in business or in pleasure, vulnerability is a requirement when it comes to the relationships we form; it can bring us luck, or it can bring us loss. I know you want to know which way this is going to go, and I’m happy to report positive gains! But first, you must let go of your fear. If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), please show your support by signing this petition to make it a national health priority.

Gemini: Gemini is always convinced that he or she has all the time in the world. It explains why you double book your schedule, or why you’re so excited to RSVP “yes” to every invite received, or why you really do believe that no matter how far you have to travel, it will only take 20 minutes! Is it possible that at this juncture in your life, you may have too much on your plate? I thought so. Try to revamp your calendar; time efficiency will allow you to accomplish so much more of what you want. If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), please show your support by signing this petition to make it a national health priority.

Cancer: One thing you may be starting to realize is that your family, children, personal projects and sense of fun are much more important than the work that you do. In fact, if you could quit your job tomorrow in order to spend more time with loved ones, indulging a youthful spirit, I’m sure you would! Unfortunately in today’s world, it’s not that easy. But it’s not impossible, either. You’re just itching to create something new and authentic; luckily, there’s fertile energy available to make it so. If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), please show your support by signing this petition to make it a national health priority.

Leo: You’re beginning to see the bigger picture, Leo. As a result, your faith has been restored. Now that you’ve got a different perspective on things, how will you apply it in your everyday life? For starters, your emotional life could use a little polishing, and there are many ways this can be done – from redecorating your personal space and turning it into your personal sanctuary, to making amends with family. No matter what you do, you can believe with all your heart that all will be well. If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), please show your support by signing this petition to make it a national health priority.

Virgo: I like this new you, Virgo. While you’re still making plans as the planner of the Zodiac, you’re less worried and more flexible. It’s as if you no longer feel the need to concern yourself with what’s out of your control, and that is extremely liberating! The beauty in all this is that you can now apply it to your way of thinking, i.e., staying more positive and letting go of the “what ifs”. This is also evident in your interactions with others; composed, but not so stiff. Yup, this new you is way cooler. If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), please show your support by signing this petition to make it a national health priority.

Libra: You’re free to live life on your terms Libra, and that’s a wonderful feeling. But as you continue to figure out what that looks like, you might begin by considering what is of value to you. Do you want to focus on creating greater financial stability? Do you want to be seen as someone of worth? Do you want to be able to invest your resources into projects, relationships or new ventures that are important to you? Is it all of the above? Well, it is all possible, but only if you really want it. If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), please show your support by signing this petition to make it a national health priority.

Scorpio: The New Moon/Solar Eclipse has your name on it, Scorpio. In fact, you may recall last year’s New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Scorpio; can you see how it affected you throughout 2014? There may have been some significant changes, especially with regards to your health. But it was all worth it for you to be in a new state of mind. Get ready to morph once again, as it’s time for another round of transformation. You’ve got this dear Scorpion, just mind the bend. On the other side is a new you. If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), please show your support by signing this petition to make it a national health priority.

Sagittarius: I bet you never realized just how creative you actually are, Sagittarius. If this is a sudden development, embrace it, as you have so much to offer just by being your authentic self. Now that you’re aware of what makes you so special, and the blinders have been removed, you can finally rid yourself of those feelings of inadequacy that stifle your creative spirit. People really do appreciate your gifts and your talents. Don’t be afraid to show the world, for the world is your stage. If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), please show your support by signing this petition to make it a national health priority.

Capricorn: You’re all riled up and passionately unhinged, Capricorn. What does that mean? Well for starters, you’re no longer stifling your feelings; you’re finally expressing what is true for you on a soulful level, and that feels good. Also, you’re not concerned with what others might have to say in response, especially on the work front – you’re just being honest! It may surprise you, then, that your popularity soars as a result of your outspokenness. Suddenly, you’re invited to join the group. If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), please show your support by signing this petition to make it a national health priority.

Aquarius: If you had the courage to speak your peace on an important professional endeavor, or confide in a colleague about your true career goals, or passionately express your vision of what you can offer in the way of work skills and talents; congratulations! Your bravery will be what opens new doors. It will be the reason why employers and/or new clients all of a sudden want to hire you for your services. That bravery is why you will soon be sitting high, and finally publicly recognized. If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), please show your support by signing this petition to make it a national health priority.

Pisces: As you learn to let go of the people, situations and things that are no longer of value to you, you begin to broaden your awareness of what is important. What a liberating breakthrough! You oftentimes go above and beyond to prove your value, and just as often, your efforts go unnoticed. That doesn’t mean you should stop going above and beyond. It just means you shouldn’t care if it’s not acknowledged. The efforts you put forth should really be a reflection of how you value yourself. If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), please show your support by signing this petition to make it a national health priority.
