Ahead of its Season 5 premiere next month, The Walking Dead has announced the addition of Tyler James Williams (and 2 other Black actors) Variety confirmed on Wednesday.

The Everybody Hates Chris alum will play a character named Noah, though no further details, including how long the character’s run will last, have been revealed. The news confirms rumors that Williams was spotted on the Atlanta set last month.

While there’s no Noah in the Robert Kirkman comicbook series that the show is based on, there is a Noah Cruz in the prequel videogame The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct. There was also a Woodbury resident named Noah in season three of the AMC drama, played by Peter Wierling.

Along with his recent role in Matthew Perry’s Go On, Williams also appeared in Peeples and can be seen in the upcoming Dear White People.

Other new faces joining the upcoming season include Andrew J. West, The Wire’s Seth Gilliam, Alanna Masterson and Christian Serratos.
