August Alsina has revealed that his injuries following a medical emergency were a lot more serious than the public knew.
The “No Love” artist was performing at a show in New York last weekend, when he suddenly collapsed and fell off of the stage. According to NecoleBitchie.com, there hadn’t been much word about his condition aside from reports that he was in ICU and had experienced several seizures after the terrifying episode.
Certainly, fans could not have expected an update directly from August given that his team was being really slow with the updates.
Today, August himself spoke out as he posted a picture on Instagram letting his 32,200+ followers know that he was finally awake after being in a coma!
“This is a bit graphic but i wanted to share this w/ every follower of mine. iWoke up out of a 3 day coma… &This guy @banggang_moneyteam right here never once left my side,” August wrote, delivering a message about how important it is to value the people in your life. “What I’m tryna say is cherish the ones in life who cherish you & take good care of yourself. Your life can be gone in a split second’. I’m recovering well and thankyou for all of your prayers & concerns.”
