Melissa Rivers will appear on E!’s “Fashion Police: Celebrating Joan” special tonight, marking her first TV appearance since the death of her famous mother, and discussing the outpouring of condolences she’s received from around the world — including a note from the First Family.
“I received a letter from the White House, President Obama, someone who was often a target of her jokes, as was Mrs. Obama, but I received a hand-written note saying ‘Not only did she make us laugh, she made us think,’” Melissa said.
Rivers, 46, joins “Fashion Police” co-hosts Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic and George Kotsiopoulos for the 90-minute tribute.
E! is playing an all-day “Fashion Police” marathon leading up to the special, which will celebrate her life and the lasting impact she left during her six-decade long career in entertainment.
