Sherri Shepherd may have escaped “The View,” but she’s still a huge fan of the show, and made it clear all throughout today’s second episode of the new season.

The actress, currently starring in Broadway’s “Cinderella” opposite Keke Palmer, started live tweeting along to the ABC program’s “Hot Topics” segment. Her first tweet was a shout-out to her former co-host Whoopi Goldberg that read: “Watching the @theviewtv screaming &wondering why @WhoopiGoldberg is not hearing that last joke I threw out – oh yeah I no longer work there!”

When the subject on the show turned to ISIS and the laws against Americans being legally able to raise ransom for their kidnapped family members, Shepherd also chimed in, reacting to a comment made by new host Rosie Perez. She tweeted: “‘Why couldn’t I use my own $$$ 2get my family away from Isis?’ @rosieperezbklyn girl that’s rich folk-most of us have 2B at work in the a.m.”

She added: “If someone kidnapped someone in my family-nobody could pay the ransom or go look for them … we don’t have that much vacation put away 2go.”

Sherri recently gave an Instagram shout out to her former “View” boss Barbara Walters, who attended “Cinderella’s” Sept. 13 performance to support Shepherd in her role as the Madame. She Instagrammed: “To look out & see my mentor, former boss & protective ‘mama bear’ @BarbaraJWalters in the audience … I couldn’t stop smiling @cinderellabway She loves me – she really does!!!!”
