I was commenting the other day about how my life has changed quite dramatically over these past few years; I’m definitely not where I thought I would be. Of course, where I was wasn’t so terrible. I’ve had an amazing life ride so far! It’s just that I had assumed I’d still be on that first path headed in a certain trajectory. Enter the saying “we plan, God laughs.”
Nowadays, I find myself content to just sit back and observe how events unfold in my life. It seems this current iteration is the right one – I’m happy, and aware of how I can be of service. But the uncertainty of it all is still challenging. I may be in the habit of asking about circumstances when in doubt, but that’s only if I can muster the courage to do so.
To be honest, there’s a part of me that’s afraid of where I’m going, as if it’s anyone’s guess! Oftentimes it’s harder to wish for clarity than it is to know the truth of a matter, out of fear of what that may be. Nevertheless, the cosmos is telling us not to be afraid this week. We’re being encouraged to walk towards what is with bravery. Here goes nothing!
