Looks like Mike Tyson may be jumping on the biopic trend that’s saturating TV and movies nowadays.

And he already has someone in mind to play him in a movie. Who could be? Non other than Jamie Foxx, of course. In an interview with the Associated Press, Tyson, who recently revealed he was in talks with Foxx to star in the biopic, gave his opinion on why the Oscar winner would be a perfect fit to play him.

“Me and Jamie Foxx have been talking and he’s willing to take that role and portray me as Mike Tyson, doing my life story,” he said. “I think he’s splendid because he’s really up to par. I think he would do a magnificent job.”

“I saw him the other night and we discussed it,” Tyson continued while being optimistic on Foxx being physically prepped to portray him. “He doesn’t have the physicality but he will. He’s able to […] get bulky, so he’s capable of doing it in the future.”

If this biopic becomes a reality, Tyson would join Nathaniel Ayers, Tookie Williams and Ray Charles as icons portrayed by Foxx. In case you forgot about Foxx playing Tyson. The serious role would be a contrast to the lighthearted version of the boxer Foxx mimicked back in the day.
