The New York Police Department has stripped a Staten Island Cop of his gun and his badge after putting one man in a chokehold that killed him.

According to the New York Daily News, Officer Daniel Pantaleo was assigned to modified duty today. Authorities and the Staten Island district attorney are continuing to investigate the case, where Eric Garner wound up dead.

The demotion comes as a new seven-minute video of this week’s fatal confrontation was posted online. The clip shows no less than eight cops surrounding the an handcuffed and unconscious Eric. He appears lifeless at that point as his head droops on the sidewalk. The cops don’t provide him with any medical aid until the EMTs arrived on the scene and he was loaded into an ambulance. NYPD commissioner Bill Bratton was furious after viewing the video. The investigation is supposed to determine whether cops had a valid reason to use that much force on Eric. A source told the Post that they definitely didn’t.

Tactically, very little was done right,” the tipster said. “The first two cops  didn’t engage Garner . . . They appear to know him. Do something to put him at ease.”

  1. It’s genuinely very complex in this full of activity life to listen news on Television, thus
I only use web for that purpose, and get the hottest news.

It does NOT take all of this to put a man down. Once the man is down, the cop should have put the cuffs on him. THere were other officers around to assistant in this. People need to learn that if you are not qualified to do a job, do NOT apply of it. Everyone can not be a cop just like everyone can not be a doctor. These types of jobs require more than wanting a paycheck.

Lord I fear and pray for Black America. Things just seem to be getting worse and worse. If justice is not rendered in this case then I fear Black America will have reached a boiling point and then who knows what will happen. It’s just getting to be a little too much when people can be this blatantly racist and not be rendered sufficient accountability.
