One singer from a beloved 90s male group has been taken into custody due to allegations that he killed his wife.

KHOU in Houston reports that Russell Neal of Hi-Five, who were famous for the song “I Like The Way (The Kissing Game)” has been chared with murder after his wife was found dead in their home on Thursday.

Russell supposedly alerted the Harris County Sheriff Department to the fact that his wife, Catherine Martinez, was dead in their apartment. Then he told authorities that he would need a lawyer. He told police that he and Catherine were arguing before she died, but he wouldn’t say anything else without a legal representative.

When cops entered the home later, they found Catherine stabbed to death and lying on the floor. Her body had been covered up by a blanket. KHOU also reports that she’d suffered blunt force trauma.
