Roland Martin talks to Phillip Agnew, the leader of the Dream Defenders talks about Freedom Summer, a campaign launched in 1964 to register as many African Americans in Mississippi as possible.
“Many of the issues that we were fighting in Selma and Mississippi, we’re fighting today. So what’s important is to lay out a vision for the people. We’re building a block of voters to move on principle,” Agnew said.
