When you think of Kevin Hart in 2014 more than likely your mind thinks of the comedian-turned-actor starring in films such as ‘Think Like A Man’, “The Five Year Engagement’, ‘About Last Night’ or the highly successful comedy, ‘Ride Along’ (the film grossed $127M worldwide and a sequel is currently in the works).
But before he played host to Oprah in his Los Angeles mansion and even before the more than 10 magazines he’s covered, there was a 28-year-old comedian, still fighting his way to the top.
The year was 2006 and the Philly native performed on ‘The Tom Joyner Show’, a one-hour variety/sketch comedy show that featured comics and musical performances.
A young Hart can be seen using what many of his fans have grown to love and respect about him — his vulnerability. Everything from his failed marriage to the laugh out loud funny moments he shares with his two kids, nothing is off limits.
