This weekend comedy is on the menu when 22 Jump Street heads into theaters with Ice Cube, Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum reprising their roles as bumbling cops and their savvy superior. How To Train Your Dragon 2 is another sequel in theaters this weekend and a good choice for bored kids just out of or almost out of school for the summer.
If you want to head out instead, New York City is the concert hotspot this weekend with everything from comedy to music on tap. The great Aretha Franklin is doing two rare NYC shows so it you can make it there, you must see the Queen Of Soul do her thing.
If chillin’ with the remote is more your style, you can enjoy Saturday’s second episode of the new Starz series Power with Being Mary Jane’s Omari Hardwick or check out Iyanla Vanzant and who she’s fixing up on her always intriguing show. For you NBA fans, Game 5 of the Finals is what’s happening this weekend.
