Actor Djimon Hounsou is heading back to the big screen in a new film adaptation of “Tarazan.” The popular actor has been cast in a supporting role in the upcoming film.

According to Deadline.com, Hounsou has been cast to play the role of Chief Mbonga in the new film. With his casting, the Oscar nominated actor joins actors Alexander Skarsgard of “True Blood” fame and “The Wolf of Wall Street” actress Margot Robbie in the action adventure. The film is being directed by David Yates.

Djimon Hounsou has a busy year ahead of him. He is about to kick off a whirlwind of press because he is one of the voices in the new animated sequel “How To Train Your Dragon 2.” Also, Hounsou will appear in “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Fast & Furious 7.”
