Well, it seems as though if Whoopi Goldberg was asked for her hand in marriage, she would say, “heck no!”
She says marriage isn’t for her.
And it’s good thing — especially as a celebrity — she realized she doesn’t want to marry. Maybe, she could school half of Hollywood to do the same.
“I’m not a good marrying person,” Whoopi said with a laugh. “I always thought if I was married, I’d be closer to normal. But as it turns out, I’m just not normal and it’s something I’ve come to accept.”
Goldberg learned from trial and error.
She’d been married three times. Her marriage to Alvin Martin produced her daughter, Alex Martin.
But after failing at marriage so many times and realizing it isn’t for her, she has no regrets about the decision.
“I’m okay on my path. I like my path. I like not having to explain myself constantly,” she added.
