Walker told Atlanta’s 11Alive that Epps asked to meet with him after Epps’ set at Uptown Comedy Club in Northwest Atlanta. But according to Walker, Epps didn’t have comedy on his mind. ‘Going out to meet him, he struck me and he struck me, and two other guys he had with him stuck me, and they hospitalized me and they beat me all over a joke,” Walker says. Another comedian, Bo Micadelic says that while Epps didn’t throw a punch, he ordered his security to beat up Walker, who suffered bruising and lacerations on his head after the beating. Walker was treated and released at Atlanta’s Grady Memorial Hospital.
