  • The Atlanta Journal Constitution is reporting that a 22 year old Morehouse University student has been missing since Friday.

Ben Jones hasn’t been seen since he told his family he was going to pick up graduation tickets, according to Channel 2 Action News. Since his disappearance, his parents have learned Jones was not scheduled to graduate with the Morehouse College Class of 2014 last Sunday.

“For him to stay away for four days over the disappointment of that would be very much unlike him,” Richard Jones told Channel 2.

Lisa Holland, spokeswoman for the Roswell police department said the elder Jones, who lives in Roswell, filed a missing persons report over the weekend. She also said Ben Jones’ physical description and vehicle information have been entered into the Georgia crime information database.

“It is strange that there hasn’t been any activity on his cell phone,” Holland told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “Right now we are treating this as a missing person case.”

No cell phone activity in six days? We’re hoping the young man returns home safe and sound.
