When it was announced a film was going to be made about the life and times of legend James Brown, music fans said, “Finally!” Now that the film is done, the trailers are helping build buzz and anticipation for “Get On Up.”

Starring Chadwick Boseman of “42″ fame as James Brown, the film chronicles Brown’s life from childhood to stardom and everything in between. One of the major subplots is Brown’s relationship with his mother. Brown’s mother is played by Oscar nominee Viola Davis.
“Get On Up” also features the acting talents of Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer, Jill Scott, Ralph Tresvant, and Tika Sumpter.
