After a scheduled marriage counseling session, a Florida man repeatedly stabbed his wife with a butcher knife.
Jeanwell Napolean of Port Charlotte, Fla., is said to be undergoing a much needed psychiatric evaluation after snapping and grabbing a knife moments after a church deacon left his home.
The New York Daily News reports:
“She yelled, ‘you gonna kill me!'” the deacon, Andre Dallemand, told the news station, recalling last week’s horrific attack.
Dallemand said he was just pulling out of the couple’s driveway on May 9 when he heard the wife’s bloodcurdling screams.
Andre Dallemand, the couple’s counselor, who is also a deacon at Eben-Ezer Church in Port Charlotte, said he heard the wounded wife’s screams and entered their home to see her covered in blood.

“When I get inside I run to go inside I saw him with a big knife, he’s already stabbed her,” said the deacon, who described the injuries to her arm, stomach and back.
Reports are being made that it was the couple’s daughter who was able to convince her father to put the knife down.
