50 Cent lost even more credibility this past weekend when he chose to take a rain check on his son’s high school graduation. According to his son, Marquis  Jackson, and the boy’s close family members, 50 Cent purposely missed out on a very pivotal moment in his son’s life. Rumors began to escalate when an emotional Facebook post from Marquis’ account showed him hugging and crying with his sister, Mia, with the caption, “Yea I broke down, I was really excited to see my pops at my graduation today but he never showed up smh. My sister and mama is always there for me just know that you wasn’t. I did it without you!”

Since then, 50 Cent has spoken out against the claims telling TMZ that he was never invited to attend the graduation and had no idea when the event was taking place.

Marquis’ sister now claims that the Facebook account with  5,000 friends and 200,000 followers is fake and her brother did not post the picture. “The page has been there for years. We tried to get it deleted. Whoever runs that page has a lot of time on his hands because they create pages of our mother and I and have them correspond with one another as if it is us, but it’s not.”

Regardless of the lies on the page, Mia still claims that  50 Cent did not show up to the graduation.

50 Cent is no stranger to family drama, especially with his son. Just last year, 50 Cent was accused of sending disheartening texts to his son telling him “delete my number” and “I need a blood test cause that d*ck sucking b*tch you call mom was f*cking the hole [sic] time.” Ouch.

Is this another case of poor parenting or was 50 Cent actually left out of the loop? Are we buying the “I didn’t know the date of the graduation argument?” when we live in a world with the internet and cellphones?
