The official statement from the Carter-Knowles family was released with this heading: “Beyonce, Jay-Z And Solange Say They’ve ‘Worked Through’ Private Issues That Caused Elevator Fight.”

I guess the time finally came for the very private family to finally say something because if they didn’t, they knew the speculation would just keep going and going and going.

A day after the scandalous video leaked the one we’ve all watched over and over with eyes wide and mouth open showing Solange Knowles punching, spitting on and kicking her brother-in-law while big sis Beyonce stood by, Beyonce and Jay-Z announced additional shows have been added to their upcoming “On The Run” Tour.

Talk about keeping it moving.

I don’t know about you but sometimes when I get embarrassed, overwhelmed, frustrated, scared or tired, I want to give up or go somewhere and hibernate. Not them. They are continue to make public appearances and keep the brand intact.

Things might be in complete behind closed doors (although I hope not) but their example of grace under pressure and tenacity under fire is yet another example of that the show must go on! There’s a lesson for us all here. Regardless of how you feel, don’t let your emotions win or get in the way of your goals and dreams.

Emotions can change like the wind, but it’s the power of focus regardless of circumstances that always wins the race. Whatever Beyonce, Jay and Solange are or aren’t going through as a couple and a family can’t be easy. Private drama, let alone public scandal, never is. News Flash: successful people cry at night, too.

Can you walk through the fire like Beyonce did with a heavy heart but a smile on your face? One of her songs is entitled, “Pretty Hurts” and from this point forward, I’m going to listen to that one differently. But the bottom line is, while we’re watching, they’re still working and working through it and past it.

Word for the Day: If you have to deal with life’s fears, failures and frustrations anyway, you might as find a way to may it work for you! Regardless of what you may be going through right now, say this with me: I CAN’T BE STOPPED. I WILL KEEP GOING!
