Grace Bush accomplished an extremely rare task. Not only did she graduate from college at 16, but she did so before her high school graduation!

The Florida teen earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Florida Atlantic University, a week before she’s set to receive her high school diploma.

At 13 Bush enrolled in the dual credit program at Broward College. Taking classes throughout the summer allowed for her to finish in just three years.

So just how does a teenager with eight other siblings stay motivated to attend both college and high school at the same time? Family accountability of course.

“My two older sisters are doing it and I’m the third to do it. My oldest sister already graduated and my second oldest sister is graduating in the summer.”

Grace has her sights set on becoming chief justice of the United States. She hopes to spend her summer preparing for the LSAT  [The Law School Admission Test]  before pursuing her Master’s degree this fall.

You go girl!

    KUDO’s to Ms. Bush!

If I had not seen this article on black web sites I certainly would not have known about it since the media never shows anything positive regarding African
Americans–they only focus on the negative.

This young lady and her accomplishments should have been on all of the major news channels!!!!!

  2. I’m so Godly proud of her and I don’t even know her. It’s such an extraordinary achievement I know her parents and siblings are estatic as well. I believe that she’ll go on to become “Chief Justice of the United States” just like she said. Get it Girl!!!
