Jacque Reid talks to Tanya Roberts Curby, the mother of two daughters who are graduating from college on the same day — in two different states.
“It’s been rough with no spousal support. They didn’t receive any scholarships so I worked wherever I could find work,” Curby said.
Curby is one of the stars of a new documentary that talks about the financial struggles of single mothers and with two daughters that are more than 1,000 miles apart and receive their degrees on the same day, she can’t afford to attend both ceremonies.
