“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” producers are pulling out the big guns when it comes to security!

According TMZ, makers of the hit VH1 series are taking preventive measures to decrease bloodshed on set. Now one guard is assigned to every cast member to keep things from getting “too ratchet.”

The new system has already helped Lil Scrappy stay clear of a potential fight. “Scrappy and a new cast member named Erica Pinkett had to be separated by the new security force after she threw wine in his face during a dinner this week,” an insider close to production told TMZ.

Sources say cast-on-cast violence isn’t the only reason for the change. “It’s also civilians trying to attack stars,” the insider revealed. And as one cast member put it, “That s*** gets ratchet and now the bodyguards shutting that s*** down.”

Do what you gotta do, Mona Scott-Young!

Do you think this will help cut down the violence?
