Retired NBA star and former Philadelphia 76ers point guard Allen Iverson is the subject of a documentary making its sold out world premiere on April 27 at the Tribeca Film Festival.

From first time director Zatella Beatty, “Iverson” features the controversial 11-time All Star and the 2001 MVP telling his story in his own words with appearances from the Miami Heat’s Dwayne Wade and former “NBC Nightly News” anchor Tom Brokaw among others.

    Allen Iverson said that the best advice he ever received was “Never argue with God”. I told him that the bad things that happen in his life on made him stronger. He is real. He spoke his mind. He set trends in basketball. He became a household name.. God then blessed him with talent.
