Things aren’t looking too well for former Saints safety Darren Sharper — and rightfully so.

An Arizona police detective said that Sharper’s DNA was found on one of two young women who say he drugged and sexually assaulted them last November.

NOLA.com reports:

Police testified that one of the women who returned to the apartment after partying with Sharper at a nightclub told police she passed out on a couch after drinking a shot prepared by Sharper that he was “very insistent” she drink. According to the detective, the woman’s roommates also consumed drinks prepared by Sharper and soon felt drugged.

One woman told police she went to a bathroom to splash water on her face and saw Sharper on top of her roommate, having sex. By morning, both women awoke groggy and believing they had been sexually assaulted, according to the police report.

Sharper, who has been accused of drugging and sexually assaulting as many as nine women in five states, has been held in the Los Angeles County Jail since Feb. 27th.

What type of punishment would fit Darren Sharper’s crime?
