Known for his brash comedic humor and silky, permed locs, Katt Williams has without a doubt, created a lane for himself. Originally from Cincinatti, Ohio, the pint-sized funny man credits Dave Chappelle, Bill Cosby and Richard Pryor for laying the blueprint to success.

Outside of standup, Katt appeared on three seasons of Nick Cannon’s highly-rated MTV improv show, ‘Wild n’ Out’ and a host music videos for everyone from Outkast (‘Roses’) and Ludacris (‘Stand Up’ & ‘Number One Spot’) to E-40 (‘One Night Stand’) and Lil.. Kim (‘Shut Up/Lighter’s Up’).

He is currently in the middle of a 48 city tour that will introduce Katt to a younger generation and re-introduce him to his allegiance of fans.

I was very, impressed with Katt Williams this morning. I have never heard him, except “about his behavior” as communicated by the media. However Katt was very, very articulate, thoughtful, and demonstrated a high degree of intelligence and insightfulness. It was wonderful to hear a black man speaking clearly, and using proper grammar, (unlike some of the other men that were on this week.) In fact, Tom, of all the commedians, Katt Williams and Monique were by far the best. Mr. Williams, continue to show your best side. I only see wonderful things for you.
