Kanye West was held in police custody for less an hour this week. According to TMZ, the rapper was booked in connection with his misdemeanor battery case on Thursday at the Hollywood LAPD station, where he was fingerprinted and had his mug shot taken. The process was completed and he was released within 49 minutes.
As we reported earlier, Yeezy pled no contest to charges that he attack paparazzi photographer Daniel Ramos at LAX last March. As a result, a LA judge ordered he complete two years of probation, 24 anger management therapy sessions and 250 hours of community service.
If West completes his 24-month probation without violation, the conviction will be erased from his record.
The future Mr. Kim Kardashian also agreed to stay clear of Ramos and pay for any medical bills and equipment damage.
