After months and months of speculation, Keyshia Cole finally confirmed her spilt from husband Daniel “Bobbie” Gibson.
The “Rick James” singer opened up about her rocky marriage during a 30-minute interview on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club this morning. When asked about their relationship, she simple stated, “We co-parent.”
Keyshia revealed that she and Bobbie are living apart, however he’s still “a great father” and picks up their 4-year-old son Daniel Jr. up for school each morning. “He takes DJ to school every morning and I pick him up,” she said. “We good.”
As far the cheating rumors circulating online, the soulstress said she thought her basketball star husband could be faithful. “We just had so much of a great relationship, I felt that it would be possible,” she shared. “No matter how much I dislike this man, it’ll never be to a point where he can’t see his son, period.”
She went on to say that she’s unsure about her next move. At this time, neither Keyshia or Bobbie — who said “I do” surrounded by lush greenery and wild flowers in Hawaii in 2011 — have yet to file divorce documents.
