Oprah’s Book Club members are in for a special treat. The leading leading is preparing to release a title of her own!
Sources say the new book include 14 years of essays that Winfrey published in her O, The Oprah Magazine column “What I Know For Sure.” The project, to be released the same name, will be organized by themes, including joy, gratitude, awe and possibility.
The collection of “essays offer a rare, powerful, and intimate glimpse into Oprah’s inner life—her thoughts, struggles, and dreams—while providing readers a guide to becoming their best selves,” explains the press release. “Candid, moving, exhilarating, uplifting, and frequently humorous, the words Oprah shares in What I Know For Sure shimmer with the sort of truth that readers will turn to again and again.”
According to Flatiron Books, a new nonfiction imprint of Macmillan, What I Know for Sure will hit bookstores nationwide on Sept. 2.
