What a way to honor an 18-year-old, told by doctors he may only have weeks to live! Thousands came out to celebrate and attend the graduation ceremony for Dominique Cooks, who has an inoperable brain tumor. This past Thursday he, along with his twin sister Diamonique Cooks, got his diploma at Decatur High School in Federal Way, Wash.

Dom Cooks was diagnosed with brain cancer two years ago and doctors say he may not have much time left. The teen said of his battle with cancer. “I’ve just been battling that for two years or whatever and recently went to the doctor’s. The tumor had spread. It’s everywhere in my brain. It’s pretty bad,” but Dom isn’t letting that get him down.

Administrators at Decatur organized an early high school graduation Thursday evening so he could experience getting his diploma. During his graduation he said he felt like a rapper and teacher after teacher expressed their great admiration for the teen.  The ceremony even brought out Doug Baldwin of the Seahawks; he presented Dom and his sister with jerseys.
