Omarosa Manigault for school board? That’s right, “The Apprentice“ breakout star is among 10 candidates running for a seat on the Board of Education for the Los Angeles Unified School District.

TMZ reports Omarosa is “passionate about helping kids out of poverty and making them safe.” Her credentials include a position as the educational director for the L.A. Clippers Youth Camp, volunteer work at a L.A. mission and her certification as a LAUSD teacher.

According to the Los Angeles City Clerk’s office, the reality star, who listed her occupation as a “teacher/children advocate,” filed out all the necessary paperwork to run last Friday.

The winner will serve out the remaining term of Marguerite Poindexter LaMotte, who passed away in December. The election will be held on June 3rd.

If she wins, she may be the first reality TV star-turned-school board member ever! Tell us your thoughts below, beauties.
