Legendary rapper Snoop Dogg has been known to collaborate with artists most wouldn’t expect him to work with. He’s worked with Willie Nelson all the way to soul legend Charlie Wilson. Now, Snoop wants to work with Will Ferrell on his next album.

The potential song collaboration happened when Will Ferrell was answering questions during an “Ask Me Anything” session on Reddit. Snoop asked Ferrell if he would like to record a sequel to “Boats ‘N’ Hoes,” which is a rap song Ferrell recorded for his film “Step Brothers.”

Snoop said, “ayy Will, imam need some more cowbell on tha next album, u game?” Will Ferrell responded in his signature comedic style, “Of course! I’m absolutely game, Snoop. I’ve also got some beats that I want to  run by you. I’m warning you now, they’re not good.

edit: In  fact, I just talked myself out of it. I’m not going to show them to you.”

Snoop Dogg confirmed their plans by saying, “boats n hoes part 2 uhearme !! we may need 2 climb some trees first.”

While Snoop and Ferrell will work on the song, it’s highly unlikely a sequel to the film “Step Brothers” will accompany the track.

Check out the original song below. Do you think the song deserves a sequel?
