What would Michelle Obama’s 50th birthday bash be like without a performance from Beyonce? Well, we’ll never know because, as predicted, Queen Bey took to the stage for a high-energy performance at the First Lady’s milestone celebration.

According to reports, the 32-year-old songstress performed a mini concert of a half-dozen hits for the crowd 500 in White House’s East Room. As Sasha and Malia Obama watched from the stage, their birthday-girl mom danced the night away.

Although official pictures have yet to be realized, People reports our stunning FLOTUS wore a “long red jumpsuit reminiscent of her 2012 Inaugural gown ensemble.”

President Obama gave a “moving tribute to his wife, recounting the first time he laid eyes on her, how he was soaking wet and had on bad shoes but she didn’t hold it against him,” according to the magazine. “He thanked her for being patient with him. You could tell he had married his best friend.”

In addition to Queen Bey, John Legend sang two different renditions of “Happy Birthday,” we’re assuming the traditional version and Stevie Wonder-style. Other guests at the star-studded event included John Legend, Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson, Samuel L. Jackson, Magic Johnson, Gayle King, Gladys Knight, Janelle Monae, Ledisi, Star Jones, Steve Harvey, Michael Jordan, Smokey Robinson, Hillary Clinton Michael Kors, Rachael Ray, Al Roker, Sheryl Sandberg and Stevie Wonder.

The first daughters weren’t the only underage girls around for the birthday party. According to photos from Beyonce’s Tumbler page, she bought 2-year-old Blue Ivy along for the fun.

Sources say the Obamas’ family and friends departed the White House gathering around 2 a.m.

Happy birthday, again, Mrs. Obama!
