Kwame Kilpatrick’s Father, Bernard Kilpatrick, Reports to Federal Prison

WXYZ reports Kwame Kilpatrick‘s father Bernard Kilpatrick has begun his 15-month sentence at a federal prison in Texas.
Bernard is serving his sentence at a minimum security correctional facility in Texas located 15 miles away from his family.
U.S. District Judge Nancy Edmunds ordered the 72-year-old to 15-months back in October 2013 for cheating on his taxes stemming from his son Kwame’s corruption case.
Kwame Kilpatrick was sentenced to 28 years in prison.
